Color, color, color — rich, vibrant, and yes, breathtaking. That's the story of these earrings in hessonite garnet, chrome diopside, Devil's aquamarine and Botswana agate.
At the top: a pair of deep cinnamon hessonites with lovely translucence — remarkably clean for a typically included gemstone. Just below: sparkling faceted chrome diopside, framing velvety Devil's aquamarine, the contrast between these two striking stones making a delicious impression. The finish: faceted nuggets of pinkish Botswana agate, each topped with a little beadcap.
All wire-wrapped in sterling, showing off nature's handiwork in every untreated stone. Proof that statement jewelry doesn't have to be overwhelming in scale to make heads turn.
Inspired by Helen Frankenthaler's 1976 work, Plexus, these gemstones virtually pulse with energy, like the painting itself.
