Collection: Color Field

Abstract Expressionism and Color Field painting — mid-century movements that changed art forever — share something unexpected with some of my favorite rare gemstones: the same bold swaths of color, the same mysterious mark-making, and the same capacity to move us without explanation.

The Color Field Collection grew from that recognition. Pink Botswana agate bleeding rose into apricot. Banded blue opal in vivid horizontal stripes. Inky blue iolite and shimmering sunstone, grown together.
