I shape each hoop by hand and arrange the stones to show off the variety of hues and patterns, then choose a specialty-cut faceted square tourmaline to top each hoop. A lightly hammered oval 14K gold-filled link adds negative space, length, and movement.

At 40mm across, these are approximately 1 ½" in diameter — a comfortable size with plenty of presence and personality. A very special take on October's birthstone.
